Thanks guys, glad you're digging this. Any yup, I'm IP.
Most of us work on other old 8- and 16-bit platforms as well. Some actually have 20+ years experience in making chiptunes, yet others joined the scene just recently.
Factor6 and TDM are oldschool demosceners, they mostly work with ZX Spectrum 128K (AY soundchip). Factor6 actually uses a lot of different platforms, including C64.
Fluidvolt does mainly SNES and N64-flavored stuff.
Shiru is a rather famous ZX and NES coder (he actually coded one of the sound engines used in the compilation). Also, he recently released an
awesome FM flavored synthrock album.
Mind Body Alpha is a piano player, he has only released 1-bit stuff so far.
Mister Beep does ZX beeper exclusively as well.
Warlord originally comes from the MOD metal scene. He worked with many different platforms in recent years, most prominently with Atari 8-bit (POKEY) and VIC-20.
Myself, I started on Atari ST but nowadays I do mainly 1-bit music, too. Hopefully I'll get around to making some SID stuff soon, though, been wanting to for years.
