Nice man that is cool. :)
-
Are there torrents for these yet? ^_^
-
Did u went on Omnimaga really randomist? o.o
because songs have been uploaded in the download sections since this winter at least. Only the hardcore armageddon mix isnt online now, since it was on Netham server, which is down atm
-
Out of all your songs, the only one that I absolutely hate is Hardcore Overkill. The name says it all... Just too many random beat barrages.
But I love the rest ^^
-
I agree with that, and Scream can get a little hard to listen to once and a while.
-
true, Scream and Hardcore Overkill were attempts at two different hardcore styles: Gabber and Speedcore (respectively), and the first ones as well. Speedcore is meant to be between 300 BPM and 600 BPM, which make it insane. Just listen to this small sample from a friend's label site: http://kanibalz.com/hardcore/speedcore2.mp3
Over here there is an explanation of all hardcore styles: http://kanibalz.barkode-productions.com/hardcore/
All hardcore songs I made (each 15 of them but Firestorm original and Moment Of Thought are on the 4th album) fit mostly in the U.K hardcore and Happy hardcore style. There are exceptions like Scream and Hardcore Overkill for example, as well as The Last Time You'll Rock, which fit the Makina style due to its happiness

Kevin, I am really impressed with those covers! They look really professional, I will buy them from ya ;)
-
^.^ first i need to get my blast my music accoutn working again x.x
do u guys know a good music selling site where they wont charge any fee to subscribe? I dont mind if they keep part of my profits when my songs are bought though, providing i get at least 40% of them
-
I know several local bands who are being sold on iTunes, look into that.
-
last time i found an itune site it wasn't free though. I dunno if it was the official itunes store site tho
-
ooh! I will buy one. :)

I am also planning on getting a hosting website for me(since my server has uptime from hell) and then I can let you post your files on that(though your space might be decreased.)
Those are nice professional looking covers!
-
well I was planning at one point to buy yahoo hosting to put all my files on here, but Idk yet, it will depends of my finance next month
-
Isn't the copyright of the album title Dark Side of the Moon still held by Pink Floyd?
-
hmm I didn't even knew there was an album called Dark Side Of The Moon. I saw lot of dance albums being called dark side of the moon before too. Only thing is that my albums are freeware, so it shouldn't matter much, since I'm not gonna try to sell them. I may try to sell my music later though
-
DJ Omnimaga. you never heard of Dark Side of the Moon, it's one of the best selling albums of all time (and it's by the best band of all time)
-
I've HEARD about dark side of the moon, but the song, like a few months ago. Don't assume everyone know about it because that's elitist attitude, not everyone like pink floyd and have to like it to please others
-
No, I didn't mean it like that. I was just surprised because of the sheer amount of copies sold (4th or 5th best selling album ever I believe).
-
i am just not into this music genre, they played pink floyd at school often and it just didn't appealed to me
-
Yeah, they are a somewhat 'acquired taste'.
-
Have you found a site yet? I would like to make an order for 1000 ;)
, but I did not say how much XD
-
I thinnk the only way you can officially publish that title on your work is if you say it's a parody or tribute to the original. Though I think that you still have to pay royalties even then, I don't know.
-
Technically, my Dark Side Of The Moon song was supposed to be called Chaos Inside Me back before I finished it. However at last minute I decided to change the title because it sounded cooler. I could always revert the changes if I decided to publish it or sell it, or I could change the title to Moon Dark Side or a variation of this title
-
Well, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon was originally going to be called Eclipse: A Piece for Assorted Lunatics because the band Medicine Head released an album a month or so earlier entitled Dark Side of the Moon, but that album didn't do so well so they changed the name back. Because of this I don't think the name should matter.
-
Yeah, especially since if i sell it it would be on mp3 stores mostly, but again I got a new title idea if I decided to changed it, and it would be "Lunar Dark Side"
-
YEah I noticed the Dark side of the moon thing right away but never said anything. But what makes that album famous is the fact that it was on the billboard top 100 for the longest time out of any album ever sold and would still be there if it weren't for the Billboard people making up some stupid rule to kick it off.
-
well they have to leave the place to newer songs after all anyway, if always the same songs stayed on the billboard this would be unfair to new artists who get better
-
On one hand no mainstream artist has a chance of competing with bands from back then - considering what music ment in those days - on some chart, on the other hand the chart is meaningless anyway. So though I disagree with such artificial measures, it seems appropriate.
Or maybe they should reset the charts entirely every 10 years or something, since you can't compare music from now with music that will be out 10 years from now since the whole place of music in society will be different again by then.
