Agent84's Composition #9
«

Hey, guys.
Another song right here, this one, has much better quality sound than my previous videos.
I tried what DJ said, and i attempted to connect my keyboard to my PC with a microphone cable, but it came out mostly static.
So, instead, i connected my keyboard to some speakers to get a better sound. I will continue to try to connect my keyboard though, to see if i can get the best sound possible (im going out to buy some new cables next week).
Like always, feedback is welcome.

Where did you connect it? To te microphone cable Jack, or the line in? Line in gives much better quality.

Should be right next to the mic. Normally in-between the speaker and the mic. If there's only two, well then i guess you're out of luck...

When connected to mic jack did you made sure Audacity or whatever you were using was set to record from mic? Also are you sure your comp doesn't have another mic jack or maybe even an internal mic? Maybe it was set to record from a different mic. Else, Line in might be best. This is what I use on my PC.
Also the CD player can cause interferences during recording it seems. I had to set it to lowest possible volume else I heard some weird static. I believe some other settings needs to be lowered too.
Nice song btw

Thanks guys.
Yes, i made sure Audacity recorded with the microphone jack (my PC only has one jack.). Unfortunetely, I cant find anything that says Line In, so it seems I'm out of luck. Like I said though, I'm gonna try and get another cable, because the one I used was a bit old.

My computer asks me when I plug something into the microphone port whether it's used as a mic or a line in. Could just be my computer though.

On mine, basically where I have my headphones plugged, there are 3 jacks. The one where headphones can be plugged is green, the microphone one is red and the Line in is blue
