Back to basics (WIP)
« on: September 11, 2012, 02:13:08 pm »
So, a while ago I started to try out to do some EDM production, different genres and stuff, I finally made a song I do like very much, yet I'm still not very good at it. THis song is actually my first try at UK hardcore as well, I tried trance, but I was awful at it. I'm not using the mtv thing that seems to be popular here, I'm using FL studio, z3ta+, S1 piano, 3xosc, and Drummaxx. Note this is still very WIP and any suggestions will be very welcome :D

Pretty cool! The one thing I don't like about Soundcloud, though, is that we can't adjust the volume, and I think I may have blown out my eardrum a bit lol.

Beat is pretty tight, and I like some of the unexpected melodic progressions right before the breakdown around the 1 minute mark.

Actually we can now, if we use the new design. However, the site lags like crazy. Sometimes only the top bar appears, then you have to wait up to 10 seconds before the rest of the page starts appearing at all.

Also piexil pretty nice song, although I think the bassline is offkey at times D: . You'll probably eventually get it right, though, if you listen to more hardcore. Also I absolutely love the beginning. It kinda threw me back in the '90s :D. Glad to see another UK hardcore fan around and I hope you make more of that music. :)
