Bah sleep, I usually sleep once per month
j/k but I really tend to go sleep late lately
gonna download and listen ^^
EDIT: I like it so far, even better than Lightlessness. But you should add the lightlessness beat over it (the fast kick I mean)

I had to install Wine to play your mp3. o.o
Anyway...it makes me think of being in a haunted house. Pretty good.

Ok, i just downloaded your songs and they sound pretty neat. I assume for the first one your title is supposed to be curious mausoleum? I like the dark style of that one and of lightlessness. Curious mausoleum was ok, but didnt seem to have alot to it. Lightlessness on the other hand was fairly complex and I liked it ALOT. I assume you changed the octaves of your voice up and down in the editor to get the desired "young girl" and "evil laugh" effects. New songs 1 and 2 also seem very promising. I could defintley see these being used in a rpg with a dark theme or a survial rpg. Good stuff ^_^.
*Edit* Just listened to Mad amusement. I didn't like this one very much. The sound that sounds kind of like an engine idling with an echo seemed very distracting to me and took away from the rest of the music that was going on.

yeah that was why i was thinking it could be better with the lightlessness beat, it would be a similar style

how it sounds depends on how good the speakers are. If they don't have deep base, it sounds pretty flat ( I will see if I can make a version with correction for that)

well for me there is lot of bass. I actually have headphones, i just think there should be a kick like your other song to add some beat to the song. Or maybe one version with no beat (like this one) and another one with beat for those who love techno

Well, that is only the first chunk of it, I plan to have a ending to it that is quite a bit heavier

@ necro, my speaker actually do happen to suck, but I dont think speakers with a larger frequency response would make that much of a difference in this case . It's not that it sounds flat, just that it overtakes everything in the background.
If you've ever played the legend of zelda ocarina of time there is kinda of a similar effect used that is not too over stated. IIRC its used in the royal family tomb in kakiriko village. Something like that might work better. *Edit*As an after thought, mabey you could just adjust the volume level of the effect? That might do just as well.

i have a question for you, im trying to figure fruity loops out but i cant seem to get it, one thing that continually stumps me is envelopes. if you go into the new things sample they have these nice volume envelopes that show you visually what they are doing, i havent been able to figure out how to do that, could you enlighten me, assuming you already are?

I haven't figured out envelopes myself...I have gotten used to certain automations methods and samplers but they are something i plan to study after the solstice holiday.

I assume you mean the Pulsar Early one? I think it could be used in some video games, prbly some kind of Sci-fi ish RPG but dark style. Nice in overall, but I think you should add some hi hats
I'll add your Mad Amusement song in the archives soon
