Some songs in progress

A friend and I have been writing music over the past few months, and although a good amount has been written, only one song has been recorded. However, I will share with you what we have, and updates. We should start recording again soon.
Here's the first song we recorded. It's complete, except for the lack of vocals.

The solo was just me improvising. It took a couple takes, but one just felt right, so I kept it.
Here are some other songs that we've been working on, but have not been recorded (just composed in Guitar Pro 5) so midi's will have to work for now. Yes, those are supposed to be guitars you hear. Midi sucks.

Second song we wrote. Once again, pretty much finished, but no vocals.

A metal-ish instrumental song. Still in progress.
Feedback is always welcome (but we're pretty stubborn when it comes to writing our songs
), so I'd like to hear what you think. I'll keep this updated.

The first one is pretty good.
The computer I'm on at the moment can't play MIDI files, though, and I don't feel like trying to install software that converts MIDI to something like MP3 or WAV or that plays MIDI, so I didn't listen to the other two, yet. I'll try to listen to them when I get on my other computer.

I love the first song, it's nice and jammy which is what I like. It could use better drums though

The second and third sound like stuff out of doom/old arcade games...like them as is a lot.
If you want guitars, slayer in FL studios is kick a**. i don't know if you can afford the 20-300 dollars it would cost to get all of that though...if you pmed me...(I hope just saying that much doesn't break forum rules kevin, if it does, just edit this)

I already have FL Studio, but thanks for the offer.
The reason we work in Guitar Pro is because as well as producing the notation (sheet music) and tablature, we get the play back option, which is very convenient when amends are made to the music. Guitar Pro 5 also has RSE packs, which make the guitars, bass, and drums sound 100x better than midi.
But yes, FL Studio is awesome.

guitar pro and fl are pretty good to make a rock/metal draft song, so if you got lyrics and signing to practice then you doN't have to wait until the entire song is played for real
