This is a woodwind quintet I wrote entitled "The Lightning Thief".
It is a tone poem on the book,so it is meant to tell the story in the book, The Lightning Thief.

Mhmm interesting, I think that would fit pretty well in some medieval RPG, like in a village, or in a castle-based dungeon where you need to search for stuff, but that doesn't have too many enemies

This is good! I only have one little comment: oboes can't realistically play high notes (c''' and higher) of such length, let alone at this volume. I'm an oboist, and the amount of pressure/lip tension you need for these notes is tremendous. Some of the tones I heard are even impossible to produce.
I suggest transposing them down one octave.
EDIT: btw, can I see the score, please?
EDIT2: Gotcha, one of the 'impossibilities' is at around 8:30, where an a'''' suddenly kicks in.

Give me a minute to check it, but are you sure you aren't hearing the clarinet part?
EDIT: You must be mistaken. The highest note is an E two octaves above middle C, certainly playable by an oboe. I didn't write the parts to be easy, just playable.
What format do you want the score in? If you can't get it from the MIDI file, I'm not sure You'll be able to read my file type. (Unless you have Finale)

The file should be on mediafire now (use the link in my first post)
I'm not an oboe player, but I think everything is in the correct range.
