The Warrior Says Goodbye

The Warrior Says Goodbye

This is another power metal song I started working on in June 2011 and I just finished it now. I got the idea shortly after the loss of a friendship and my mind going into despair. At the time, I thought I would leave Omnimaga within the next few days and this song was going to be my farewell contribution to the site.

Finally I left a week later, but due to lack of motivation or getting ideas for different songs, I did not even come close to finish this in time. Eventually I could come back and now I finally finished the song.

Should I make a music album containing my electronic power metal stuff, this would be possibly the last song listed on it. The style is similar to La Porte du Soleil.

I think you shouldn't make albums based on music type but on time it was made.

This thong is very good indeed DJ! It reminds me of Japanese Songs, but it has metal too =D
The (piano?) that has the highest volume is great (it's what reminds me of Japanese songs).

Also, I'm sure others will agree, this song is perfect for an Anime Series Main Theme (of course it'd need voice) :D

Yeah that would fit a lot on an anime opening. Omnimaga: The Anime why not :P

Great song, as always. And also fits a lot as a last song of an album.

Remember the day the walrus started to fly...

I finally cleared my sig after 4 years you're happy now?

Well, all my metal music was made in 2011, except for one song, that was made in 2010. I only started making that kind of music recently. For my electronic stuff I might mostly include my newer stuff, but I might do some exceptions like with Summer Trance and Other World, which sounds like my newer stuff.

Thanks by the way guys. :D

My plan was actually some sort of Best of DJ's happy hardcore album. Years might not be a problem as all the hardcore stuff would be from 2007 to 2009, and the dance one would probably be the only one including both.

By the way I made a video of the song for those without a forum account:

That's pretty cool.  I agree that it sounds like a finale.  Maybe it could work as the credits to a game or something. ;D

Wow, I'm just blown away by how good this song is.
I honestly can say, your songs just keep on getting better and better DJ.
I can't wait to hear more songs from you with this style, as much as I love your old stuff, I love this even more :)

Thanks, I didn't realize you would like it since normally you are more into death metal and such genres.

Death metal not so much x.x
But yeah I like heavier stuff usually, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate art :P

Oh ok, well I meant the whole range of screaming vocal rock/metal genres that are less melodic in general.

Yeah I know what you meant :P
I myself usually air on the side of the more melodic of the harder stuff, but to be fair, it's hard for someone who doesn't listen to it to tell.
Really love this song though :)
