Tidal Wave EP Preview - Boot2490 (C-Zero)
« on: November 11, 2011, 03:12:02 pm »
Here is the 2011 preview of my very first album,
Tidal Wave EP
Enjoy!

Caution: It is advised against listening to Experiment 80 using headphones. Three listeners (Including me) have reported that the frequencies cause mild discomfort in the jaw when using headphones. Otherwise you're good.

P.S. Good speakers reccomended!!
I'm not worried about SOPA creating censorship, that will not stand for long. I'm worried that they'll succeed in stopping piracy!

I still have to remaster them, and finish more songs, so it won't be as ear rapey.

Ah ok. THat reminds me, my metal songs are recorded quite loud. I think when I release my album, I'll record them a bit less loud, so they won't risk getting distorted.

When the Metallica album Death Magnetic came out, it sounded weird because it was recorded too loud and many people complained. Actually a suggestion when mastering is to also not use too much compression. Some parts of the song with no drum will be louder and it allows your song to be as loud as possible, but the problem is that it can remove a lot of emotion from the song and we get bored faster from it. I noticed that with most recent UK hardcore/eurodance songs, for example. It's due to the loudness war (search wikipedia for it).
