Here's a few unfinished songs I've created.
Not sure if I'll finish them or not.
(my most recent as of yesterday)

Make sure you have the bass crankin'.
Laptop speakers don't do the songs justice.

Why did you make them FLACS? Not only are they large files, my computer can't play them.

Flac sounds better to me
I'll render the songs in mp3 for you guys... VLC media player ftw!!
But seriously, flac is just awesome. I used to think that there really wasn't a difference between mp3 and flac, but after I started listening to music on my headphones, I noticed a clear difference in sound quality between mp3 and flac. High treble is preserved better in flac than mp3. The downside is that flac does consume disk space much faster, but I figure, why not render my songs in the high quality? The songs will be converted when they are burned to cd, but the conversion will sound better going from flac to cd format as opposed to mp3 to cd.

Really? I export all my music at 320kbps .mp3. I'll have to look into FLAC files. Thanks for offering to convert them for us too.

I don't mind mp3 quality, for Flac you actually need to use VLC media player. I recommend offering a mp3 version to download too because then your audience is smaller
I myself usually keep a wav version of my songs somewhere in many cases now. I cannot do flac files, though.

The reverse kick to bring the hats in was nice, and the melody reminds me of 8-Bit. Then again most of this style of music does when it has melody patterns like that. Only 52 seconds? I wanted more lol. If it were me, at the ending of 0:52, I'd have a long winding reverse crash cymbal after and then a lower octave on the bobbling melody going along with the beat, think that would sound pretty cool IMO. But this was really nice, good bass and clean drums/melody as well. Nice work. What do you use to produce your music? Just curious.

I use Acid Pro 7 with Nexus2 <- the best vst synth ever (currently I have over 3000 presets)
An additional 3000 loops is also part of my setup.
I've tried fl studio, cubase, reason, and all the rest, but in the end they just do the same thing.
Acid pro gets the job done faster and easier without the learning curve of other notable software.
yes, 52 seconds, however it's not finished yet. Need's a lot more work

Nice, I'll look in to Nexus2. I have stuff like Absynth 4, Massive, Predator. All good VSTs, for my line of music anyway. Hope to hear a finish product of this soon.

Yeah I tried FL Studio 6 through 8, Magix Music Maker 14 and 15, looked in Reason, tried Reaper, Ejay Virtual Music Studio (Dance Ejay, Techno Ejay and Hip Hop Ejay combined together) and ACID 6 and 7. So far I still like Music 2000 better, then MTVMG2, then in 3rd position Sony ACID Pro 7.
-FL: I just wouldn't get it. It seemed like the z80 assembly of music creation while Music 2000 is the TI-BASIC of it.
-Reason: same, plus so many buttons
-Magix 14: it would be 5th in my list. I kinda liked this one, especially Revolta VST, which I never figured the location of on my computer. However, this software takes WAY too much CPU ressources and crashes often
-Magix 15: takes lot of resssources too, plus seemed less user-friendly than 14 and less stable, as if 14 wasn't crashing enough.
-Reaper: too buggy, heard no sound most of the time and rendered VSTi very horribly.
-Ejay: hated the drumloop editor, seemed a bit less user-friendly than Music 2000, altough it looked similar, yet it seemed more limited (couldn't find reverb effects and all filters avaliable in 2000)
-Music 3000/Digital Hitz Factory: easy to learn but annoying inteface and crappy reverb effects.
-MTVMG3: too limited
-Music 1: crappy controls
-ACID 6: not very user friendly and annoying to use
-ACID 7: more user friendly and not too hard to learn. The only gripe I got against it is the glitch with saving VST settings, which is why it comes 3rd in my list.
-MTVMG2: my 2nd favourite of all, but the controls are not as great as in the first one and the vertical scrolling is annoying. Importing samples is a chore too
-PC version of MTVMG/M2000: crashes too often and bad controls. Crappy reverb effect (mono instead of stereo)
-Music 2002: Bad controls as well, altough it crashes less often. Crappy reverb effect.
-Music 2000 for PS1: my favourite of all. My only gripe is that you cannot import samples when using an emulator.
