Another concern I have is about people who want to make a third-party CAS for models that have no CAS. I wonder if TI and Casio would appreciate, since if those calcs have no reliable PTT/Teacher mode, then the calc wouldn't be allowed to any test that disallows calcs with a CAS.
I havent met a teacher yet who knows about the PTT features.

They should just let people use CAS on tests.

Yes, but neither in the ACT, nor in various other tests across the world.

Indeed, they should just let people use the CAS - it would fix one of the causes of disconnection between standardized testing and the real world.

You can just edit the splashes.txt file to add your custom splash texts. And iirc resource packs can change them as well.

I completely forgot how much work I put into this stupid thing. I was looking through the patch file yesterday, and there are 28 independent patches that were applied to the OS. I even designed basically my own bcall system to implement all of the weird "features".

(If you're wondering, it actually worked backwards in that it jumped to a specific routine based on the calling address, not an argument passed by the caller.)

Edit:
1500th post. I suppose this is a fitting place.

Yepp, this was a pretty nice piece of work. Though, it had to be pretty thorough to fool some of the people that it did. :)

Yeah this prank really scared the hell outta people. :P

On an off-topic note, I hate how I have to disable Mathprint again after every RAM clear x.x (on my 84+CSE).

Why clear your RAM?
Also, it doesn't take too long to switch to Classic. The start screen is more annoying.
Due to dissatisfaction, I will be inactive on Omnimaga until further notice. (?? THP hasn't been much success and there's also the CE. I might possibly be here for a while.)
If you want to implore me to come back, or otherwise contact me, I can be found on GitHub (bluebear94), Twitter (@melranosF_), Reddit (/u/Fluffy8x), or e-mail (if you know my address). As a last resort, send me a PM on Cemetech (bluebear94) or join Touhou Prono (don't be fooled by the name). I've also enabled notifications for PMs on Omnimaga, but I don't advise using that since I might be banned.
