Yes... you can throw together some code for an APP to execute them :) I can see if I can put together something! I still haven't tested much, but I think I know of a few work arounds ^-^

Probably not. Hooks have been removed unless you manually use code to install them (instead of the bcall).

who sent you this?  the other one was from Doug Fincher.  So either Doug was one of the originators of this joke, or the person writing your message doesn't know about it and it, as it was a mistake...  I vote #2, TI never informs their employees about everything.  XD:P

I was wondering if it is true.

Thanks.

Just a tip, never mention the TI-Community when you email TI. :P  We're their sworn enemies.  XD

But often they are not always informed anyway. It doesn't help that whatever this OS is, it was not even meant for release, and only remained online for like an hour (according to the fact Sir's script downloads a new OS copy every 10 minutes), so I have big doubts that anyone in their staff would know.

Personally I wouldn't even bother e-mailing TI unless you live in Belgium.

I certainly hope that this was a joke. The OS was, however, posted two days ago, not today, so I have my doubts. But I certainly hope, hope, hope that this is a joke.

Let's not forget the other possiblity that I mentioned: This might have been some guy's last day at work, and he decided to take out all of his rage before he got fired by changing the text and tearing out the Asm support. It has happened before, in other cases, such as with the original Little Mermaid cover art.

Well, the bcalls to set up the hooks were removed, so any program/app that uses hooks needs to be modified a little.

Have you found any other removed bcalls?

If it was a joke, they would have included
bcall(_DispBSOD) ;;  :P
