A threat to double-posting?

As you might know, on most discussion forums and messageboards, there are rules about double-posting and spamming. As you might also have noticed recently on most forums on the web there have been a dramatic decrease in activity and posting (this includes Omnimaga and many other TI forums), so as the webmaster here I started to wonder if the activity decrease was due to the discussion rules and policies being too strict, because there have been lot of complains on some forums about the double-posting rules. This is during my break at work when I read the daily local news that my opinion changed. Apparently the local police discovered a sect in Montréal, founded by people who used to be moderator on a forum, which had to objective to track down people visiting forums on the web, including some TI forums, track down their IP and their home addresses and murder all those who double-posts on forums. No one has been victim yet and the police started disbanding this evil group, however they warned all internet users in the country to try to not post too much on discussion forums for the time being, in case there would be another affiliate sect around but it should be less dangerous to post or even double-post on forums now since any other similar sects might stop their activity since the police is tracking all members of it at time.
On a related note there has been rumors about another group of people around that murders BASIC programmers...

Do they kill board spammers too.
If so I got a couple to redirect their attention to.

I read your post on your forum, I think it must be related to the fact you cannot force ppl to log in before posting, on forums like IPB, IF, PHPBB and Proboards you can, in other words its more secure. Of course you need a server that support PHP and Mysql to host them or your need a forum hoster like Invisionfree, Forumer or Proboards. Forumer is PHPBB so easier to hack though and proboards is very slow, Invisionfree could do, but you need some CSS knowledge to change the forum skin to fit your design.

I just recently got some webspace and are now running an ikonboard on it. That should be light years ahead of the older board I had. Right now it's running on stock code and doesn't match the style of my site. I'm going to have to get a skin for it eventually but the basic setup is working for now.
What really gets be about boradhost is that I mailed them about the spamming today and they said that their finally getting a login system that makes sense. Supposedly the new system is going to have a register function. I guess it took them a few years to realize that having logins with no way to register users was a bad thing.
Calc.org used to offer cgi and the like, but apparently it got shut off or I need to get it turned on but since everybody's gone over there thats not going to happen. I really wish that calc.org would rise from the dead but I just don't see that happening right now.

nope,
This is a parody of the Double-posters deserves to die animation combined with complains on Maxcoderz by ppl wondering why ppl are so strict on forums about double-posting. The BASIC killer rumor is a parody of all TI-BASIC flames in the community as well as the altered Double post animation

Someone still doesn't know why some Omnimaga news are #995500 colored and why some ticalc.org news are red bordered

Hey! Not funny. Lol, well, yes it is.
That's a good idea... CH should have fake news once in a while.
It doesn't really matter, my first thought was that "Hey! It isn't april fool's day!" When I read this today, I thought, "Different color? Yeah... I guess..."

yeah I also posted an april fools joke this year, but it was different because the news was in normal color until the end of the day when I said the news was fake. It was a Zelda Minish Cap project for the 83+SE in flash APP format and 8 level grayscale
