Age of Darkness Revenge Updates
« on: June 11, 2006, 07:56:00 am »
After a long month of having random urges from throwing my calculator at a wall, and just shooting it (Takes less effort :Ptongue.gif) I have finally untangled the save routine code for AODR and got it fully operational. I have also created a slightly neater way to display the boxes, that seems to only take a half a second longer, by storing the coordinates to a temp list, and using a For( loop to display it.

Here are some screenshots to show the progress I have made with the menu:

This shows what it looks like when you first save your game.

This is what it looks like when you save on a continued file.

And of course, if you are trying to save a new game on a previous file.

Thanks guys. I am shooting to have a beta of the game by next weekend, which I am sure is good news to some. :D

The demo will mainly be the world map walking engine, and the in game menu. I need a break from this, as the saving routine really took it out of me, and I want to get back to Pokemon Purple, which seems to be in more demand at the moment anyways...

Yes,
looks good tifreak8x. I like the side menu system and frame. It reminds me of some Ultimas.
