Title: CDI resigns

In my better judgement, I have come to a conculsion... I made a bad decision... I took the Staff job here at Omnimaga... now, Omnimaga is probably the best thing to happen to the calc community since the TI-83+SE, but I haven't the "gusto" (hehe "gusto") to acually matter here as staff... thus I am resigining (no matter how I can't spell it) thus I tell my final goodbyes...

Kevin, I totally let you down... I'll make it up to you... I promise

Ummm... exactly what did you do?  I'm very sorry to hear this, however...

If you did this at CH, I'd have your head.

In the meantime, I've developed better photoshop strategies, and I will be coming up with MUCH better buttons than the ones I've shown to the staff.

he feels he didn't do enough to benefit the site. we had a nice talk on IRC (where i tried to talk him out of it), and i guess he just feels he isnt as beneficial as he could be. Personally, i would rather have staff that did nothing than a staff member that was a jerk to members... and CDI is no jerk...

Sad to hear :(sad.gif , I guess it was mostly because of business, I understand this I barely have time to manage the site myself as well :?confused.gif and you are alerady managing CH and Crescent Door, which is like two website at once which require lot of time, and writing news takes lot of time as well. Thats why I am starting to worry a lot about Solitaire710 as well because he now run his own website and calcwebzine as well and he's news editor here. That being said thanks for your help on the website and I hope you had a great time in our staff and I hope you'll do well in your calc projects (dont give up on them O_Oshocked2.gif), Calchaven and CDI games :)smile.gif

I still hope to see you around here on the forums (as well as the staff section since retired staff can still view it) or on #omnimaga IRC channel and I hope you arent going to retire from the TI community soon, you have been a very active member so far and it would be sad to see you go away :)smile.gif

Actually the problem of time managing more than one site is the reason I dont apply for staff anywhere :)smile.gif  Sometimes its more beneficial if you dont.  I still run in and out of the community though, and give a hand when its needed :)smile.gif  There are ways to help out without having to be a staff member of any site :Dbiggrin.gif
