That's a great idea. Make sure you don't end up bothering some busy people, though. I know some of the great coders of years past have moved on :(

Well it would be nice, since ticalc.org did it in the past. We should also interview people who are still involved, though, since a lot of the people around here were only around for 1 or 2 years right now.

Just actually sat down and read through most of the newsletter. I quite like it, personally.

I think it's a great idea.

Definitely. The "Omnimaga Newscaster." Sounds nice, doesn't it?

Congratulations on getting this first issue done! I hope there are many more in the future :)

Much thanks for the whole paragraph about my project, it is definitely greatly appreciated. You've motivated me to fix the crash on exit bug, that's for sure!

PS: Yeah, I'm kind of slow at noticing these things... or checking my email, for that matter.

I only read it today. The newsletter is simple but very well done. Great work of the editors. It has links to to projects and everything.
You definitely should do it monthly if there are enough news. If not, do every 3 months.

I hope that it attracts users who signed on Omnimaga and left right after. The games and news were exciting IMHO, specially the Nspire part, I don't know what others think of it.

Edit: I almost forgot, I am very thankful because I can't keep track of all calculators projects and with the newsletters, I certainly won't miss the most important ones.

Thanks, and also thanks for Yunhua98 for the initiative. I know TsukasaZX had a similar idea before, though, but I am happy somebody finally did it.

By the way, typically, the newsletter  will come out on the  last Sunday of every month or the first Sunday of the next one, depending of which one is closer. Sometimes, it might be delayed for a few days, though, for example if we got several news. In other words, the next newsletter will most likely be on February 27th (Ndless release 1st anniversary... maybe it would be worth bringing it up?), then the next one on April 3rd.

I think it was discontinued after I retired from staff. I tried to convince Yunhua98 to continue it and staff to help but from what I could gather, they decided to move on.

Yeah, something like that. Yunhua98 lacked time or something and the rest of the staff didn't followed on, so it died.

Remember the day the walrus started to fly...

I finally cleared my sig after 4 years you're happy now?

Yeah.  We were going to do some kind of weakly news recap though.  Idk what happened to that.  And later it seemed to just be copies of the news articles.  :/
