I think there's some issue in Axe that actually caused the bugs in Cyanoid, for the judges' reference.

Also, (again) when does the voting period end?/when do we see results? :D

Shmibs said in the Nspire voting thread that in about 2 weeks the results normally should be known.

@Stefan for future versions would it be better to remove zStart dependencies? Because Doors CS7 is incompatible with zStart if I remember (causes problems when both are installed) and I myself use Doors CS7.

Also gonna try those entries soon, hoping I can vote in time.

Yeah, I will as soon as I know what the problems are exactly. I myself am not sure, and I think it's beyond my knowledge. Hopefully others, who checked/will check my source can help me. :)

When I make a game, I personally prefer to uninstall every app/hook I use normally except the dependencies such as xLIB. Then once finished, I make sure no variables are missing either. That way it ensures that it works on a freshly-reset calc.

Yes, I understand that. The thing was I only had zStart actually installed so that I could edit my archived programs, so that if my calc would crash nothing would happen. Apparently I had anyway a problem in my source, which zStart ignored or something. If you see the previous page in this thread, I wrote a post where I say how to run it without zStart(Thanks to ThePenguin77). It just has a nasty side affect though.

Ah ok, thanks for the info. I will probably run it from an emulator with zStart there.

Btw when does voting end finally? Because I won't have time voting until July 22nd D: (and even then that's when I can start trying entries, meaning I most likely won't finish that day)

Ok I finally got some free time to try the z80 entries. I commented in some threads but I'll sum things up here with 6 small reviews:

-CYANOID
Nice looking entry with smooth speed. Kinda repetitive after a while and it's hard to pass between walls.

-Embers-Phoenix
My favorite entry of all, nice graphics and gameplay. Only issues are glitched maps (at the top or bottom, there is garbage sometimes when moving too far there) and the boss hit detection. Also the sword is hard to find and get.

-M.E.T.A.
My second favorite entry, also some nice graphics and power ups. However the difficulty was a bit too easy since if you stood behind the boss to shoot at him, you didn't take any hit and the ball power up (F3) was a bit OP. :P

-Vortex    15
Interesting entry with awesome AI. However I found the difficulty a bit too hard, even in easy mode. I actually won once, but I never managed to figure out how to do things such as getting money to buy items and grab what's inside treasure chests. Shooting at the latter just destroyed them with no reward.

-ZAMPO!
Never managed to figure out how to play. Graphics looked nice, though.

-Rock Paper Scissors
Never figured out how to play RPS. Just kidding lol. The game itself was simple but just the achievement system reminded me of a Flash game I played once and if it wasn't for getting repetitive fast, it would have made it to my top 3. Easily the most original RPS clone out there.

I think a lot of work was put in all those entries considering the very limited amount of time people had to finish them. :)

Actually, the deadline might be extended. But not too much.

Also a reminder for judges: if you can't get a program to work, before giving 0, always ask the author and try to make it work. I know some of them doesn't work under normal circumstances.

Ah ok. Well I might have free time tonight for the Nspire one anyway, because all 84+ games were small so fast to install. Nspire might be an  issue if every game requires a different OS other than 3.1 and 3.2, though.
