Front page update and archive fix
« on: September 04, 2008, 04:32:30 am »
On the front page you can now access each forum sections directly from the "Discussions" menu to the right, as you could do for our staff projects using the "Our Projects menu".

There is also a problem that I fixed with the download section which prevented the usage of HTML in file descriptions. Now that this is fixed it is now possible once again to have screenshots in them.

Yeah, me too, I was worried for a while about this. At first, I said: "oh well", but then I thought: wait, ppl complain about lack of screenshots on most ticalc files, it's not gonna be a good thing if we provide none at all, it's gonna turn people away, so I tried to find a solution

You mean you *found* a solution, and not you *tried to find* a solution, as far as I can see =D

well personally i mind when I find a post that is completly unreadable cuz of too many spelling mistakes or grammar (in Quebec city newspaper there's often missing words and sentences structures are completly incoherent sometimes), but I won't go crazy about just small mistakes. I mean, I'M not really in favor of grammar naziness. Delnar on the old board was kinda grammar nazi and he got warned quite a few times to not do this, especially not with new members first posts ever
