Ticalc.org has just
posted the
2012 POTY results for the TI-83 Plus and TI-Nspire categories.
The winner for the TI-83 Plus category is Deep Thought's Fruit Ninja clone, with 16 votes, and the TI-Nspire one is gpSP-Nspire, with 25 of the 34 votes. The Nikky Simulator wins the 68K category by default (if the 2004 POTY included fake news features like this year, the ASM version of WFRNG would have won by 226 votes). We would like to congrats the winners, but also the other authors who also managed to make it to the Ticalc.org front page!
Hopefully next year POTY sees more great releases in each category, so those who are about to release quite notable programs, make sure to put a copy
there too (only TI programs present in ticalc.org archives are eligible for the annual award) and
let them know, if you want some chances to participate! We also encourage people to continue voting in the future.
