GBA lib and RPG Starter kit added
« on: September 06, 2007, 02:42:00 am »
Today we are adding 3 new programming tools to the RPG archives. First is GBA library, which was featured in a news article here last year but since the RPG archives were no longer maintained anymore until recently it wasn't added here yet. This tools help z80 assembly game developpement for TI calculators and it was used in the author recently featured ticalc.org program, Castlevania, prelude of Chaos, an action/platformer game that reminds the original NES Castlevania.

We are also adding tifreak8x RPG Starter kit for the TI-83+, a tool to help you start making Illusiat 6-12 style RPGs, released more than a year ago. So today, they are now avaliable in the Calculator RPGs TI programming tools section along with tifreak8x's new TI-86 port of his RPG Starter Kit.

Sadly, no. I don't know enough 89 basic to pull it off. And I have too many projects right now to pull that off. See, once I get this last map drawn, and the routines written, all I have to do is write a readme, zip it, and send it to ticalc as the next RPGSK (not replacing the old one mind you)

Sweetness. That GBA library looks really sweet! I just wish I could read the Castlevania code, but I can't. :(sad.gif

Sounds good. Scrolling ASCII maps could turn out pretty sexy (well, PP actually proves they do)
