This morning, one of our formerly news editor, now staff in the programming team, managed to do something risky with one of his calculator, but what he unintentionally accomplished while doing this will probably change the world of graphing calculators and radiocommunications forever.
Fred Sparks decided by curiosity to take one of his calculator (an old TI-83+), run a random program on it and put it in a microwave in cooking mode during 1 minute. Surpringsly the calc still worked afterwards after resending the OS. However later there was reports from many people about a strange song played simultaneously on all local AM radio stations during exactly one minute. That song was actually the first half of the CalcMod version of the Super Nintendo StarFox theme. Apparently the song got played from 9:34:29 AM to 9:35:28 AM, which was exactly at that time Fred did his calc cooking in microwave experience. We couldn't believe it at first, but when our curious staff member mentionned that the running program was CalcMOD with the StarFox theme playing with the link cable connected to the calc we all worshipped him as the new CalcMOD God and said "This is the revolution: if we manage to handle it properly we will be able to open a Calculator related radio station where calculator music will be played and games reviewed!
