I think I received some more technical things by mail.

Let me find them and post them here.

(I'm on my phone right now, that will be in a few minutes sorry ^^)
Since when does TI release technical details? :P

A sunday? Can't you just leave your TI contacts alone during the week-end, Adriweb? :P

Nah, I got the mail 2 days ago I think.

About the technical things, I actually can't disclose them, after having checked, but here's a photo with some things :P

Sorry but I had to "blue" some parts :/

Does this reduce Nspire CX battery life to 5 minutes per charge? :P

TI on facebook, 2 hours ago:
https://www.facebook.com/TICalculators/posts/373684336005530

Did they like it? or not?

But at least, we hope you liked it: the TI-Planet / Omnimaga common April Fool's prank! :)

that's a great idea and the blending is also great, I wasn't fooled because I am studying engineering and I didn't though it could be feasible in such a small size and with the battery power of the nspires despite there are some new mobile phones with the pico projector and similar battery packs I wasn't seeing TI introducing this to calculators this fast... And after all TI would make it big so it could look expensive and sell it around 400US$.

EDIT:
and me for the photoshopping of the photo (was originally a navigator wifi plug ;) )
That's what I though ;)

I didn't though it could be feasible in such a small size and with the battery power of the nspires
According to the Pico docs (found here, page 12), it uses about 5V. The Nspire probably has more than enough. Then again, I'm not too sure how much voltage it outputs for that connector...

That was a great prank, and if the other news are fake too, nice ones as well. :) I wasn't fooled, noticing the date, but since we typically post both real and fake news on April 1st I wasn't too sure actually. To me it seemed too good to be true and even if it was true, I bet TI would charge insane prices for it, so nobody would be able to afford it except rich schools. :P

Btw per Omni standards, on April 2nd you might want to add a at the start of your fake news and a at the end, like every other April 1st and fake news. That will keep things consistent :P (text will show up like this)
