Lost Legends and Music updates
« on: November 30, 2007, 07:33:00 pm »
It has been a while since we posted a music news on Omnimaga. However, let's go with some Lost Legends news first. Lately there has been planning done for where will elements be put in menu and interface and here is lot of screenshots:

And a map screenshot was totally missed in last news updates:

More info here: http://omnimaga.org/index.php?showforum=144

On the music side Nitacku has recently released a few new songs:
-Off The Hizzle (Drum and Bass)
-Destiny Realm (ambient, both in mp3 and midi format)
-Hadron (Trance)
All 3 can be found in the Music download section (you must register or login to access it).

Necro is also currently working on a new song. The current result can be listened here: http://omnimaga.org/index.php?showtopic=1664&view=findpost&p=13537798

And I finally released my fourth unmixed album, entitled Angel In The Stars:

This album is different from my 3 previously released unmixed albums for the following reasons:
-There is 15 tracks instead of 10
-Album total lenght is more than one hour, instead of being between 45 and 50 minutes, like the previous releases.
-There is a disco song as the first album song.
-Most hardcore music found on Angel In The Stars is more aggressive and less old school than it used to be in Epic Journey Through The Galaxy, Dark Side Of The Moon and Enter The Dream World albums.

All 15 songs can be downloaded from the music section for you to listen, but remember you need to login to access the pages.

It is always nice to see news articles for our progressing calc projects and our talented musicians! It is very impressive when you stop and really think about it.

Keep up the great work guys! You are all amazing! :thumbup:google.gif

I need to post more news though. Lately I've been slow on them and I only posted Omnimaga projects news, I need to start posting more news about stuff like Spencer's Zelda and programming utilities from other sites

yeah, altough I could get sued for copyright infrigments then, as one of my album use the name of a Pink Floyd album, something I discovered about 6 months after releasing the album.

That said one day maybe I will pick my favourite songs and make a complete new album and try to sell it. It would be around 75 minutes

DJ Omnimaga, I don't think you can get sued.  After all, Pink Floyd's DSOTM was originally called something else because that name was already taken.

Someday the business world is gonna run out of names, and then I'll laugh because they did it to themselves.
You wouldn't be making money off the name; it would be from the music (which I would gladly buy an IRL copy of).

But I doubt the industry sees it my way...
One of these days I'll get a sig I'm really proud of.

Plenty of songs have the same title, so I don't think that would be a problem.

yeah i noticed this last month, at least 4 songs use the dsotm title. I've seen this happen with lot of techno songs too x.x

it is confusing sometimes really :wacko:triso2.gif which is why I may change the title to "Moon Darkside" if I ever decide to sell it

Why can't you believe it?  I'm insulted by your lack of faith in omnimaga staff.  We're not just randomly chosen.
