Kian Vincent has released a TI-83 Plus ASM remake of the 2002 ZX Spectrum game by Malcolm Tyrrell, called MazezaM.



It is a puzzle game where you have to push blocks around to escape a serie of mazes. This version contains 25 levels, including one by the TI-83 Plus version author.

It can be downloaded in ticalc.org archives!

Why so? ??? TI-Connect works on both 32 and 64 bit ones ???

But it doesn't work consistently, and TiLP uses unsigned drivers, which 64-bit Windows will not allow. :(

This looks like a wonderful game.  I think it'll end up on my calc. :D

TI Connect works fine on my win7 64 bit machine, but it did require a patch(which is available on ti's website).
Actually, TI integrated the patch with it now; you can just download TI Connect and it'll work. :)

This game sounds great, and it's cool to have it on-calc, I really like this kind of intriguing puzzles.

@Zrtumpet: Ah, that's good to hear. TI actually did something right! O.O Ah, I really miss having a working TI-83+ family calc... Game looks cool.

Looks challenging and fun :) I'll have to try it at some point.
And yeah, a fresh download of TI-Connect will have no problems installing on Win7 64-bit.

TiLP uses unsigned drivers, which 64-bit Windows will not allow. :(

All you have to do is install the new 32 bit signed libusb drivers.  Works like a charm.  ;)

I also got it to work with TI-Connect, but I hear it only works when all the molecules in all the planets are aligned.

ooh, cool =D
this game comes standard with rockbox, so i've tried it before and some of the levels are rather challenging. from a quick test, it looks like it's a little slow, but otherwise gameplay isn't all that bad. however, i can't find any way to quit. pressing mode takes one to the title screen, from which point any key simply returns to gameplay. pressing 2nd+on, however, succesfully turns the calc off, causing weirdness/RAM clears upon restarting. this is on my recently aquired 84+ BE running os 2.30, so maybe it uses new bcalls that 2.30 doesn't support?

EDIT: i just tested it on my 84+SE running 2.43 with the same results =/

@Smibs,  I quit by pressing [mode] to get the the title screen.  From there, I pressed [2nd] [quit].  I think [2nd] [Off] does something weird to the stack.

I doubt it.  I think it's just poorly coded, but it shows a lot of promise and is even fun in this state, if you don't mind random RAM Clears.
