Great work xlibman. I will definitely give this a swirl.
i just downloaded it and it is sweeeeeeeeeeeeet but one thing that i nocticeid was that there was no exit button, its not really a big thing since u can just press off but im just telling you
I was using the xlib version that you included in the download here. And I had nothing other than this program in the RAM.
what calc are you usin?
please specify the calc OS as well, the game has only been tested on TI-83+ OS 1.12, 1.14 and TI-83+SE 1.14 and 1.18
wow, great game Xlibman! I am very impressed by the speed, it even runs fast enough to be playable on a black 83+, great job :thumb: btw, i think that you should make a walkthrough like in Zelda:Dark Link Quest, :P i'm havin a hard time on the game as it is, lol, i can't even get past the first are, hint? :P
Edit:btw the game works perfectly on 83+ OS 1.17 :) Compwiz, make sure you have the right xlib, the one that saids "v 0.601b" on the top left corner of the screen. Also that you installed all the files. Also xlibmam, in the game, if you don't have a saved file, and try to load one it'll crash ;)

It does? o.o  QuoteBegin-Dragon__lance+Jun 29 2006, 07:19 PM -->QUOTE (Dragon__lance @ Jun 29 2006, 07:19 PM) | btw, i think that you should make a walkthrough like in Zelda:Dark Link Quest, :P i'm havin a hard time on the game as it is |
You do? o.o Thanks for the support, I dunno about a walkthrough for now tho, I might work on one and have the entire map included but that may be more a side Omnimaga forum project, as it would be a forum section dedicated to calc games walkthroughs, and it would require a minimum amount of posts to be accessed, the post amount would depend of the game. :) The way I would set it would exempt all staff and elite members from the minimum post count tho, it would be only required for the regular members and guest would need to register to see the categories
well i'm playin it right now :) Samus moves at a decent speed, a little laggy, but playable :) lol, i still can't figure out how to get out of the first area o.o hmmm...can samus go through doors without a weapon? cause i found a door, but it won't let me go through it...
climb the cliff to the left :P
aha! i found the beam gun, you're so tricky xlibman :P
that is pure pwnage. and it should be fast on my 84+SE :P
I hope it works, tr1p1ea didnt played the game yet I think, and I dunno if anyone else than compwiz tried the game on the 84+ calcs
i think tr1p1ea tested it on his 84+SE, what he said on MC forums
QUOTE | I have an 84+SE with OS 2.41 and the game works perfectly for me...

yeah I saw in his IRC channel topic he put that here at top of page good to hear at least. CompWiz must have problems with his calc. maybe he should reset all archive memory as well in case something messed up his calc
it takes so long to ticalc.org to approve the game...
The wait is well worth the effort, as it will be continuelessly downloaded for years to come. I believe this is a great thing you have completed, as I was one who was really sadden by the death of diortem. But all is good, as you have come back and revived a game of such into greatness. I hope to see only more powerful and wonderess things from you Kevin for years to come.
I must admit it's CDI's metroid xLIB which inspired me again to revive diortem. However I was too depressed at that time, which is why it took me several months before restarting working on the game, I must admit I also wanted to wait at my work vacations before working on such project. I'm glad I finished it tho XD and I hope lot of ppl will like it ^^
and nice to see you again kalan_vod ^^ btw as you have been a great supporter in the past year even though you havent been here during the time I worked on the game you still made it to the credit section of the readme and the game itself ;)

I am happy that you were able to complete this, and that one of the community members was a inspiration in a way. I am very fortunate to have friends like you guys to come back to, and I appreciate the credit for moral support.
It's disturbing how long it takes ticalc.org to update their archives!
- Alex
yeah normally it should take a max of one week during those period of the years. During BTS traffic it should take 2 weeks maximum
It is summer time, many still have school or work. So we just have to be patient for a little while longer.
yeah, plus some ppl might be away for the entire summer. I still think if a staff neeeded to be aweay for a long while he should warn the admin or the other staff so someone else can replace him during that time and the others know what happened >.<
