Title: Music download section added
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on January 27, 2007, 07:50:00 am
As I was planning to do for a long while, I finally added a music section to the download page. This section will include music made by the Omnimaga staff. I've divided it in 3 sub-sections:
Random MIDI files Random music by our staff in MIDI format
Video game music arrangements Video games arrangements can be found here. Note: arrangement != remix, meaning the entire songs were redid from scratch and personal touch were added to them, no sample were taken from the original at all.
Our work Our very own creations can be found here in mp3 formats. No remixe of songs made by other people, no arrangement either, only our very own creations.
So when you access the download page, below the Calculator RPGs and programming tools you should see the Music section. Please note that we will NOT provide commercial mp3s, remixes of alerady existing mp3s made by other people and the only music you will find in the arrangement category will be video game music. Also keep in mind about the difference between remix and arrangement: a remix is made of alerady existing song samples and an arrangement is made of a fresh new song inspired by an alerady existing one. The reason why we limit ourself to those categories is to not get in trouble with Invisionfree, and even if in some case we would not get in trouble we want to keep a certain form of originality or stay related to video games, depending of the category.
Enjoy!

Super Speler, we need to get that TI-Band thing going again (when we are less stressed with school work) and submit some original work!
Oh, and are we allowed to submit works in progress?
