A gift from TI

Lucky. Is it limited in anyway? Such as upgrading or functionality? I heard that the demo CAS models (leaked ones) couldn't be upgraded.

Oooh. Fancy!

Did they just randomly send it to you on a whim or was it a requirement you had to meet?

I did hear that there was a sweepstakes on Facebook a while back.

From what I can gather, it's because he is testing the new Lua scripting tools from them, but I could be wrong. It could also be in response to the controvesy they caused on TI-BANK and Univers-TI-Nspire a month ago, which almost lead to TI-BANK shut down.

We signed NDA agreements though.
Again, TI sent us the right tool to work on Lua, since we are a "Lua reference" as they say.
I do not get mad at people, I just want them to learn the way I learnt.

I don't know anyone who has an Nspire IRL other than me. I'd love to get more so I can have one with 3.0.2 and one with 2.0.1

Just like me, even though I have a nspire, never tried Lua in OS 3, nor OS 3 itself.

3.01 isn't so bad if you TNOC it, you can always switch back if you dislike it.
Its fun to experiment that way.

They seem to be quite expensive..

Non-CAS: http://www.taschenrechner.de/xxlpage/index.php?page=ProductDetails&event=&aid=1516&kid=28 (129,95 € (about 185 USD))
CAS: http://www.taschenrechner.de/xxlpage/index.php?page=ProductDetails&event=ShowD&aid=1500&kid=29 (149,95 € (about 213 USD))

Both not available yet.

I got my TI-nspire CAS Touchpad with Teacher-Software for 69 € (about 100 USD) last year..

I want a CX, too.. -.-
