New section: Community articles
« on: May 24, 2005, 06:45:00 am »
Since about two months I thought about opening a community articles section at Omnimaga, however it wasn't a big deal to modify the old website. Now with the new portal it's easier to manage so I am now opening this section today, with a first article, about the lack of respect in the TI community, by Fred Sparks, who allowed me to post it on my website. The new section is located http://s7.invisionfree.com/Omnimaga/index.php?showforum=49.

In the future I will add news opinions articles, tutorials and maybe calculator newsletter here too. If you wrote a good article submit it to me via PM or e-mail, I'll review it and if it's good enough I will add it in the new section!

UPDATE (05/24/2005 15:45): Added a second article from Fred Sparks about Originality

I agree especially with the originality part. Even though AOD Revenge is graphical with tile maps, and others have created games much like this one, I am going to use a basic utility to put on the sprites on the screen (hopefully the next one I construct will be faster). :)smile.gif No one else has anything like that...

Yeah, and it also help to add some stuff that other games doesnt have. Like in the Reign of legends I decided to use Final Fantasy 8 magic system because not much games used it on the calc

(btw have you noticed the new BBcode buttons when posting?) %)rolleyes2.gif

Nice job Kevin on adding the Articles section.

Also CDI I agree with your pt. of view on both of your articles. Hopefully the right people will take them into account.
