Because some topics on Omnimaga have grown, can grow or will grow to insane proportions (such as the main Axe Parser topic, which is close to 1000 posts), it can be very hard to find a file attachment in it. This poses a problem when somebody is looking for an interesting program or routine somebody else posted in a popular project topic that has several pages, as the search engine doesn't search for attachments. To remedy to this situation, we have installed a new mod on Omnimaga forums that lets you display all attachments available in a topic in particular on the same page. Below you can see an example with the Axe Parser topic called "Your Projects - Post and Critique":

If you are confused about what is one attachment in particular, simply click the small icon nearby to go to the post where it was attached.

Unfortunately, due to our site setup, there is no way to make this avaiable dynamically right now (besides each topic names on the topic index pages of sub-forums), so what you need to do until we figure out a way around this is to grab the topic ID at the end of the URL and replace the "1564" with the ID in the URL posted above. If for example, the topic ID shows something like 1564.msg46965#new or 1564.0, just include the 1564 part.

We hope you enjoy, despite the current not-so-user-friendly way to access this new forum feature.

We also renamed the Feedback sub-forum because people kept asking calc and computer questions there, even thought it is not the purpose of that section.

Very useful indeed. I sometimes like to scavenge attachments on forums, I will use it frequently. I'm very graceful.
Now I wish, this could be found in other forums.

What about displaying an icon no matter what? It wouldn't matter if there weren't any attachments.

Necroposting. It'd be good if we didn't have to backtrack to the board of a particular page to view all attachments, but rather have a button of some sort at the top/bottom of a topic page (i.e.: next to the reply/notify/mark unread etc buttons) that did this.
EDIT Actually I realised it is easier to type it in manually topic=xxxx.xx;action=topicattach

Definitely putting this in my list of useful URL syntax. It has taught me much, so I don't have to go back up to the board page.
