Wtf are they doing. O.O They're completely messing up the names and continue to sell outdated hardware. <_<
* Streetwalker slaps TI :P
The only calcs that should remain in the z80 series are the 84+SE and the CSE. At least they ditched the 83 so they're making progress here. :P
Yeah I was wondering why they bothered keeping the 83 for so long and why they released a TI-76 instead of moving the TI-73 oversea. The 73 was much better because of Flash apps support, but I guess maybe TI was worried about people using Chameleon. I understand having the TI-82 stats to cater to the big TI-82 userbase that France had in 2003-04, but that userbase has since dwindled a lot.

That said, I hope they keep the TI-83 Plus for a while longer or at least do like in France and replace its hardware with 84+SE hardware for the same price, because where I live, the TI-84 Plus costs close to $145 when it's not on sale, which is even more than the Casio PRIZM. Or they could just drop the prices one level down without renaming the calcs.

Btw where have you been Streetwalker? You suddenly disappeared O.O

Ugh, how does this slip past me?

It is kinda weird how they change the numbering......getting you thinking if they will make an 84+ with a 85+ OS...oh wait :P

don't give them ideas. Imagine if they release a TI-85 renamed to TI-84+ with no Flash and just 28 KB of RAM and a 6 MHz CPU just as an excuse to jack prices up :P

Well for a bit I had very limited computer/internet access then got lazy to come because phones are not so good for forum browsing. Then some stuff happened like minor dysphoria, staying in my room the whole time and missing class a lot. Hopefully better days have come and I'm back. :)

Hopefully things goes better. Also I use Tapatalk to use the forums and it's nice. It's not free anymore, though.

Nah, I don't like Tapatalk. I have my tablet back now and it's much more comfortable to browse on a 7" display than a 4.7" one. ;)
