Old forums back up!

4 months after sending a support ticket to Invisionfree to restore the old forums, they are finally back up! Above the news forum I've added a sub forum section that link to them. You can also access them at
http://s7.invisionfree.com/Omnimaga
. No post and topics can be made here anymore though, and all moderator and admin CP privileges has been disabled as well. Old staff from back then can still access the staff forums though.
However at the moment I am still debating of if I'll keep those as they are now or use them in the current forum. The problem is that if I keep the old forums as nostalgia purpose (same old skin for example) it will break anyway when Invisionfree will upgrade to ZetaBoards so all this will be lost anyway, so I am wondering if using them in the current website would be a better idea. Feel free to vote the poll!
Another note is that I had no other choice than putting the forum redirect above the rest of the entire forum as the software won't let me put anything between the statistic and the forums.
UPDATE: All members' old account post counts have been added to their new accounts.

Don't !!!!!! I didn't know omnimaga before v3 and I'd like to see how it looked like before - furthermore it would be useful for the number of posts/topics we have to add the old forums to the new one.
(There are lots of information in these old forums)
hmm there was a number of ~270 members... can't we try to get them back???

... I'd say to leave the old forums to die.
Not because I didn't like it, but it was kind of cluttered o.o
and I'd like to have it back, just for old times sake and the increase in post count it would give me
Argh. can't. decide...
If you could only add the important (aka the sections: "Omnimaga Projects", "Pixel Art Contest", the pixel art section and "featured projects" ) topics, that would be the perfect solution for me. :knight:
/deit: added an option to the poll.

I completely agree with spellshaper; just add the important sections

actually if I was gonna let them rott I would rather put all posts in one single sub forum, and link to them. As there is good posts here per request I could delete some of the bad posts ppl doesnt want to remember. I would prbly delete the entire user database too or just edit out all users accounts to avoid confusion with the current user database. The good thing at least is that the archives are somewhat back up ^^
I really dunno what to do with them >.< basically I can let them like this, and add a link to them in about section for Omnimaga version history, but that'll be waste of time as it will screw up on zb upgrade, so I would rather make something else of them (so invisionfree board restoration work isnt wasted as well >.<), and delete the bad posts like the petition and the stuff we dont want to remember
On a good related note this should make backing up smileys easier when tenniskid comes back I may give him admin access again so he can put them back

well now everything has been archived in one single sub forum, but as most projects were active a lot before it was deleted topic it shouldnt be that hard to find the project topics in the topic list (23 pages of topic)
