I think the PrizmCity one is a mockup :S Or maybe I'm wrong :P

It is not.  It is an early screenshot, with no HUD and bad map generation, but it is real.

Since I know few people here will actually play the game, I'm going to try and take a vid of it in action eventually today.  It looks a *lot* better now (in fact, I might install the Prizm "emu" that came on the disc today along with hyper cam or something)

Or even better, can someone take one of it for me? :)

if C is extremely similar to Prizm C, I might join next year XP

It's *just* C; it's not another language; sure, it's not as well documented, but its documented well enough where you could rather easily make a game of most genres and awesome levels.  I suggest you get used to not working with standard libraries before using it on the prizm though; I think for PrizmCity the only standard routines I used were malloc, realloc, and memcpy.  They were pretty much the only implemented std routines.

EDIT: and add a "remove vote" option to the poll?

Can't wait to try the games. Not now since I'm leaving in like 10 minutes but maybe tonight. Glad the file corruption issue was resolved Ashbad and sorry to hear you could not submit in time z80man :(

Indeed.  If z80man entered, he more or less probably would have had my vote :(

Edit: though I just tried Sequenced and I loved it :) cool game, awesome considering it's BASIC too :D

I tried Sequenced and Easy Game so far. I kinda liked Sequenced, now I'm trying PrizmCity, which looks pretty by the way, although I'm trying to figure out how to build structures and all now ???

I've tried all thee now, tho I kind of got a bit impatient with PrizmCity about the time it was saying "Adding Gatorade" :P
Wasn't able to glean much from the readme, see if I'll be able to figure out what's there.. Tbh I haven't played the original SimCity or anything like that, so I'm assuming background knowledge comes into play.
* Darl181 wishes saving worked, tho..it's like Super rc pro am in ti-boy, a 2-minute wait just to get to the actual game x.x

I was playing Sequenced at school, it's pretty good. Great stuff for a BASIC thing (nice touch with the menu :))  Tho I haven't played Mastermind before, after checking the in-game instructions I got it :D

And Very Easy Game..I couldn't finish it it was too hard interesting :P (tho it's easier than the original, the original gave you only two years to react while this gives you three)

No. The unexpected change of the time limit will leave most players confused for at least 1½ year, which makes it harder to react in time. :P

If you don't want to wait, you can choose "Emty Map".  The "Adding Gatorade" has nothing to do with the speed, adding those types of messages take only about 20 milliseconds away from how long it takes to render the map.  Good map generation takes a good amount of time.  If you want to see why it takes so long, the source *is* included..

Ashbad how do I place buildings by the way? I have no clue how to, because the readme doesn't state it and Idk what does the icons means either. ???

Also loading was ok for me, although I hope in future versions there is an option to save the map. I lol'ed at adding gatorade :P

I think for voting my scoring will be split by categories so I can do a final vote, because each games has their good and bad sides. So far for me it is a battle of "graphics+lenght+originality" vs "having a clue what I am doing+replay value" and it is hard to tell if having a clue what I am doing in Sequenced will outweight everything in PrizmCity or not. So far my vote seems to be aimed more towards PrizmCity but first I need to know how to play.

One thing I may suggest is that it would be preferably better if only people who have downloaded and tested the games on a Prizm or an emulator vote in the poll. For a game such as Sequenced just a simple screenshot doesn't do justice to the originality that can only be experienced by a real player. I'm not trying to change the results here, but making it more fair for everyone else.

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

There's actually a bug in the program that means you have infinite time to press the button :P
∂²Ψ    -(2m(V(x)-E)Ψ
---  = -------------
∂x²        ℏ²Ψ

Let us not forget though the hidden secret bug that limits the time limit to 140 hours if you are running off battery power  :-\

That reminds me... my batteries have just started to run out of juice now. It would be the first time I change them when I do.

Yeah... I used that bug for optimization. :P
