AI lost the game.

I might participate if I get the time. I got some ideas, but those are just ideas.
Good luck to anyone who enters :)

I saw the contest was to make an AI, and I thought, "sure, I can do that!" until I saw it was only for graphing calculators. Is there anyway I can enter the contest with a computer program?

We are offering an electronic giftcard with value $100 to as 1st place prize and $30 to 2nd place.

If I understand correctly, it is a winner for each blended category, whereas z80 wont have the same computerized power has the Nspire.
So z80 programs starts with an handicap to win.
I do not get mad at people, I just want them to learn the way I learnt.

they said it is a total of $650 of prices, which means $130 per category, so everything start at the same base, since z80 are not mixed with nspires and prizms

Am I allowed to use techniques (e. g. a tilemapper or a savegame organizing routine) not related to any special game I developed before the start of the contest?
Yes, that should be fine as:

2: You are not allowed to enter a project that was started prior the start of the contest. You can use code, images and ideas from it, though.

I saw the contest was to make an AI, and I thought, "sure, I can do that!" until I saw it was only for graphing calculators. Is there anyway I can enter the contest with a computer program?

Unfortunately there is no computer section this year. If you Code in C or Lua though, you could work in one of those languages as both the Prizm and Nspire support C. And the Nspire supports LUA. You would need to look over the platform you choose though, as I'm sure C or LUA on these devices is a bit more limited than on a computer. ;)

Good luck to everyone participating!

1) July 8th, 1:00 GMT-5 is the deadline for any entrants
2,3) cool :D
4) anything, as long as it's for either a prizm, nspire, or 83+/SE/84+/SE

Hmm I might participate, but I would have had an idea for an AI but not in a game...
Now I'm not sure I'll have the time to code an actual game with a proper AI :P

I'll see...
