Welcome back in 1990 2005.

In July 2005, an Internet Relay Chat channel was created for Omnimaga: #omnimaga. It was located on EfNet. On February 15th 2006, the channel was relocated on United-TI Dragon-Fire Network, at irc://www.unitedti.org and immediately grew in activity after the move. The move allowed us more control on our channel and to be located on a network where was alerady located most other TI-BASIC channels, which shared similar interests with us about calculators. However, various problems occured over the years, mainly server downtimes, and by 2008, we started talking about relocating, as nothing was being done to fix the problem. As response, Netham45 was made an IRC operator and most problems were fixed. However, since 2009 began, he slowly became inactive and downtime issues as well as other problems such as power abuse from another IRC operator, Tianon, prompted us to finally relocate back to EfNet. There were various others options, but finally it looked like it would be the best one, as a botnet is in the works and most staff regulary joins IRC, not to mention the only other active IRC channels related to calculators are located there (#unitedti and #tifreakware on Dragon-Fire no longer being active). There were also many users begging us to move back to EfNet in the past few years.

So please update your IRC clients if you only connect to Dragon-Fire to visit #omnimaga, so it now connects to EfNet, or just the channel if you are alerady on EfNet. The PJIRC applet linked at the top of the website has also been updated to reflect the change.

From now on, the Dragon-Fire channel is muted and useless, so you will have to use the EfNet channel instead. Sorry for the inconveniences this might be causing.

There are a lot of Efnet servers, actually, over 100 at least. I think Efnet.org has a list, but I'm unsure. There might be a lot more. You just need to try each of them one by one. When I get banned from Servercentral.net, I use irc.prison.net or irc.choopa.net. When I'm banned there, I use others. I don't even know on which server I am now, though, as my client just try alternate servers when I can't connect, unlike with Dragon-Fire.

I was kicked then the next day somebody banned me with that message, so I can't even connect to the channel
