Title: #omnimaga/OmnomIRC are gone

Due to abuse and the fact it is no longer possible to satisfy everyone with how #omnimaga should be ran, our IRC channel, which opened on July 18th 2005, has been discontinued. This means OmnomIRC is also gone.

Sorry for the inconveniences this might have caused, but yeah, to the one who instigated it, thank you a lot.

This also means Omnimaga will shut down on October 13th, if no one else can form a group to pay the next hosting bill. I am no longer devoting anymore money

This also most likely marks the end of my contributions in the TI community.

I understand how you feel... Things have been stressed lately, and Souvik pushed things over the edge for you. I'm sorry about all this.
We understand and won't stop you from leaving, but you're always welcome back if you change your mind. :)

Souvik, while being constructive, did not come at the right moment in the chan to criticise us, and could have waited a bit longer, like a few days. He knows we went through shit, and yet he doesn't give a shit.

Besides that, he and _player1537 were supporting Omnimaga bashing in #cemetech afterward. I was logged in and saw it happen. Obviously there was Nikky, but I was disgusted at Tanner/player and Souvik betrayal.

It's over, now. The site is fine, unless no one can pay for it, but the chan is gone, thank to them as well as everyone else who caused trouble in it in the past 2 weeks, such as momrocker.

I personally have lost all interest I had for the TI community after I read SAX on Cemetech. You can ask someone logs I guess.

This really makes me mad that just a few people who have no feelings others can just abuse OmnomIRC and cause all of us to lose this useful tool. If IRC is to ever be brought back, we have to be swift on taking action and banning those who blatantly contradict the rules. We are community of sharing and support, and if you came here to destroy that, then go somewhere else because we don't want you here.

nvm, the logs are down now. btw the way I was wondering if we could partially reinstate IRC in which no one could send messages, but post updates still showed up because that was very useful.

@Souvik: I never mentioned you in my first post. Only those who abuse IRC. Because I have not seen the logs yet, I'm not fit to judge you at all.

Edit: ninja'd from Qwerty. Now I can check the logs.
