Nice, I wonder if they will eventually fix these bugs. <_<

Still no developer response.
For the record, if you get some awesome developer response, I'm not gonna hand my thrown over.  ;-)

But seriously, I doubt we'll get a response at all. I really hope we do, though.  Maybe send them a modified OS with all their bugs fixed.

Well. I can tell no one actually ran my patcher because it doesn't work on real hardware. :) Evidently, sending flash commands at the boot page makes the calculator angry.

But, after roughly 8 OS reinstalls, the patcher is complete. (I just said if it's trying to write to the boot page, don't do that). I even added in a counter that shows you the progress of the patch. But that was purely a byproduct of debugging on a real calculator.

Also, I got zStart working. Which is the whole reason that I tested it on my calculator because I could now enjoy my settings the way I like them. Here is the new patcher (I updated the other post) and the newest zStart which will appear on ticalc.org shortly. I also added in the option to turn off the stat wizards.

Edit:
This version of zStart is way safer than all the old ones. You'll be perfectly fine just sending it to your calc without making any changes.

You can build a statue out of either 1'x1' blocks or 12'x12' blocks. The 1'x1' blocks will take a lot longer, but the final product is worth it.

Quick question: for zStart, what does Solver++ do?
My website: Currently boring.

Projects:
Axe Interpreter
   > Core: Done
   > Memory: Need write code to add constants.
   > Graphics: Rewritten.  Needs to integrate sprites with constants.
   > IO: GetKey done.  Need to add mostly homescreen IO stuff.
Croquette:
   > Stomping bugs
   > Internet version: On hold until I can make my website less boring/broken.

Ah, yes. That was going to be my awesome solver replacement. Although I never finished it because I got bored, and because it isn't really necessary.

It probably won't crash your calculator. So to check it out, turn it on in zStart, then go to the bottom of your MATH menu.

Sorry if that has allready been reported, but 2.55MP is having problems with Xlib, exactly like 2.53MP.

It might be harder to fix, as the ROM page is completly full...
In 2.53MP, Brandon did call some code he inserted at the end of the page.

Yeah I'm not sure how he'll manage to fix it.

However xLIB is pretty much obsoleted by Doors CS 7 now, since Doors CS 7 pretty much includes the entire xLIB app, Celtic III and some parts of Omnicalc. It would probably be nice if there was a way to get xLIB to work, though, for people who need the extra 32 KB that DCS7 takes.

Someone could also try providing a patch for xlib itself or something. Just a thought

Long term usage of 2.55mp on a real calc:
Don't install it!
I am currently unable to plot any formula's!
When I do so, it splits the screen into 2 parts and turns 'm around :O
(The top of the page is on the middle, and goes down, and when it reaches the bottom of the screen, continues on the top of the screen)
If that makes any sense

Anyway, long term usage, don't use it ;)

Splut for Android [----------]
Paused/halted indefinitely, might be abandoned, our graphic designer quit and the rest of us simply doesn't have the time to work on it...

Did TI's last z80 programmer accidentally microwave their brains or something?

What do you mean by 'formulas'?
