Wow.. they did not remove 3.0.1 only because of the bricked calcs...

Due to an update issue with TI-Nspire™ handheld operating system (OS) and TI-Nspire computer software, we have temporarily removed select versions of 3.0 from our website. An update to TI-Nspire version 3.0 will be available by mid-May. If you have already updated your handheld's OS or your software successfully, there is no cause for concern. It will function normally. We regret any inconvenience.

Umm.. and some more problems in the CAS version:

What do you mean? They're talking about the bricking, nothing else. They just don't call it "bricking", because not everyone knows what that means...

This blurb of text they wrote is wrong... bricking occurs upon the next reboot. The handheld can work properly even with a bricked boot2, as long as it's not rebooted.

Yea, damage control fail. Hopefully this will start convincing people to update with discretion.
See you, space cowboy...

LOL, yeah, it's going to be interesting to see how quick the teachers on the google nspire site will be to update when the next OS comes out.

Next time maybe teachers will not blame TI bugs on us, now that TI finally admitted one of their mistakes.

Who knows maybe if were lucky TI will have a bug free OS(I believe the chances of this are about the same as randomly guessing the private key for a 2048 bit encryption)
I currently don't do much, but I am a developer for a game you should totally try out called AssaultCube Reloaded download here https://assaultcuber.codeplex.com/
