There have been reports about a virus warning when browsing Omnimaga topics containing content hosted on themuncher . net today and it appears this site effectively has viruses being hosted on it. We do not know if it was intentional from the owner of this domain or the people the owner gave webspace (and sub-domains) to, but a bunch of Omnimaga users happens to frequent a website called Neritic Net and because this site is affiliated with The Muncher, several people got webspace on the later. Because of this, it is typical from them to host their Omnimaga avatar, sig images and files on it. Basically, any post containing links to themuncher . net and its sub-domain will give you a Malware warning in Chrome. We do not host such content on Omnimaga and we monitor our files to make sure no such content is linked to, but we have no control over external file hosts. This is why we ask your help (especially Omnimaga members who uses the offending filehost) and if your signature, avatar or posts contains anything or links from there, to delete these links.
No Omnimaga member nor visitor is at fault for this, it is the fault of either the owner of Themuncher, its users or its hosted members for not checking what content is uploaded there or maybe even deliberately hosting bad files.
We hope this warning goes away once these links are gone and would like to apologise to all members for the inconveniences this might have caused. You should not be infected at all so don't worry.
