Netham45 has updated the #omnimaga/OmnomIRC forum activity notifier IRC bot tonight. In addition to a few minor bugs being fixed, such as incomplete notification messages glitches, he also added support for 4 english TI z80 forum other than Omnimaga: United-TI, Cemetech, MaxCoderz and TI-Freak Ware. From now on, users of the #omnimaga IRC channel, regardless of if they use it from EFnet IRC network or from our built-in forum OmnomIRC shoutbox, will get notified not only from our own board, but also from those 4 other boards as well. The bot should make it much faster for our users to keep themselves updated on other TI communities news. Certain forums that are less active also tend to be checked less often, so it can be easy to miss important things. The bot should help fixing that.

In the future, we also plan to include TI-BASIC Developper and when their website comes back online, Revolution Software.

Activity-wise, in 2010 so far, United-TI has been averaging at 16.7 posts per day, Cemetech 51.3, MaxCoderz 1.5, TI-Freakware 1.7, Omnimaga 127.2, TI-BASIC Developer 5.8 and Revsoft 3.1. Those stats were compiled on April 12th, except for Revsoft, which were compiled on April 4th.

You broke the Cemetech notifier, I saw no notification come up in the logs from there tonight, yet I just checked the site and 6 topics had new posts

There is only one annoying thing about the notifier bot I discovered late last night and this morning: when a spambot attacks a forum, the chan gets flooded with new post notices in the same fashion as Omnimaga does late at night sometimes . Cemetech was actually hit by a iPhone ads spambot last night then this morning by a spammer who spammed most of the forum under the nickname "ihatecalculators"
