Pyramid Solitaire for the TI-89
« on: September 19, 2010, 02:55:16 pm »
A new solitaire game for the TI-89...

Pyramid Solitaire

Pairs of cards can be removed if their values total 13. In this game, Jacks are valued at 11, Queens at 12, and Kings at 13. Thus, kings can be removed immediately. Cards must not be covered. Thus when an Ace rests on a Queen, that Queen can not be removed. When going through the draw pile, the cards are drawn one at a time with a selectable number of rotations. To win, remove all the cards from the pyramid pile.

Wow looks great! I hope this gets featured on ticalc.org. I'm glad to see the 68K scene is still alive and that you still do some games every now and then too :)

That reminds me, since Omnimaga now covers calc gaming news rather than just RPGs and our own stuff, I did a little topic move. :)

Congratulations :)

yunhua98: several new games and programs do not equal a comeback of the TI-68k community ;)

Oh I think he really meant in terms of 68K releases. If you compare the 2007 and 2008 POTYs with 2009 and 2010 there have been a bit more 68K features in the past 2 years. The increase is much less signifiant than it was with z80 and Nspire stuff, though.

I need to scrounge through my Intellivision and Commodore 64 collections to see if I want to pursue a remake of another classic... Nothing on the scale of Ultima V though -- that was pure craziness.

Again... thanks for all of the compliments!

hmmm... maybe Jumpman.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumpman

That would be cool!

Btw are you uploading this game to ticalc.org? I am sure this could probably be featured :)
