DigiTan has released the Linked and Standard Edition for his new game Robot War: Project Darkstar for the TI-82. Part Turn-Based Strategy game, part RPG, part 2 player battle, it is a definite must for all calculator gamers. Check out the latest download

So far this game is only for the TI-82 but versions for the 83+ Family are being planned. Check it out!
Also, I'd like to thank Kevin for hiring me to be the new RPG news editor. I hope I can do a good job!

I really enjoy seeing people programming for the "older" platforms such as the 82 and 85. Hopefully, porting from the 82 to the 83+ is not too hard.
Looks very impressive!

There having problems finding people willing to port it to the 83+ because they want the linking to be cross compatible.

yeah *cough*emu8x needs rom images too*cough* anyway I might try it through the emu someday, since its 82 emulation it shouldnt be that slow.
I tried
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/89/8966.html
on my SE through emu8x and it was slllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww :bounce:
:paf:
but I'm sure it was because of the grayscale and bigger screen
EDIT: nice article btw
and lloydkirk1989 I should look at your avatar the forums seems to have screwed it up
EDIT 2: I see, I think if you dont enter dimensions IPB resizes it for you
EDIT 3: should be fixed now
