Someone e-mailed me about recent TI-emu release and some info. Finally, a complete version of TiEmu, an emulator for the TI-89, TI-89 Titanium, TI-92, TI-92+, and V200PLT hand-helds, has been released for
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/370/37014.html and
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/370/37015.html systems. (
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/371/37152.html version is still in rc8 state.) The new version has many features, now including:
-full-featured graphical debugger (source, memory, breakpoints, traps, vectors, stack, trace, ...)
-debugger supports : run, step in, step over, step out, run to cursor
ability to load/save the emulator state
-file linkport emulation (direct loading of files)
-works with 1/2/4 MB ROMs, 128 or 256 KB RAM
-emulate HW1, HW2, and HW3
-can run from ROM dumps or FLASH upgrades
-automatic ROM version/model detection
-constrast emulated (try [Alt] +
-pretty fast emulation engine
-sreenshot of LCD and/or calculator in several images format (JPG/PNG/ICO)
-TI keyboard useable directly from PC keyboard or with the mouse on the skin
-archive memory support as well as ghost spaces
-TiEmu features much more abilities, which can be found at the
http://lpg.ticalc.org/prj_tiemu/. This is the first emulator to work with newer Titanium and V200PLT models, which was not available from VTI, unless you knew a few tricks
Note that linkport emulation has not been tested with USB cable yet.
This is fantastic news for 68k programmers and program-users because it enables much more efficient coding and testing!
I'll add the new version in the Omnimaga archive when I'll have more time.
