I added a new free discussion forum category on the website: the Sprite, tiles, pictures and pixel art section. This idea was requested by a member of the forum today but since I had the idea for a while actually I decided to add it now.
I have seen many programmers starting new RPG projects or any other games for calculators but encountered one problem: drawing all those black and white (or grayscale) sprites in small format and make them look good on the tiny calculator screen. In this section they will find everything they might need for making games with good graphics or even learn how to make their own sprites. If you have any sprites, pictures or any other artwork to share with other programmers feel free to post them in the new section
http://s7.invisionfree.com/Omnimaga/index.php?showforum=61
.
I also added a new poll about new website ideas.

I guess that is ok as long as you ripped it from Nintendo and not from fellow TI programmers, and you admit it in the readme.

Actually most reuben monsters were ripped from many games (as you can see in the readme credit section), but I am planning on posting them anyway as well as some other sprites I made

Well in that case, I'll win hands down...LOL just kidding, but yes, I did about 50% Nintendo, 10% Bandai, 10% elsewhere and 40% original.

I was thinking about making a game, then the contest would be to make sprites for that game, then once finished it would be released at ticalc.org but the winner would be flaggered as one of the author. I dont have much ideas with all that happened recently but that might be one, any other ideas?

Thats a really good idea, and the game woundl't have to be anything huge or tremendously complex it could just be a simple fun game to play or something odf that nature; or maybe you could release games from the contest like in a series with a theme or something.......
