Some IRC problems

A week ago, it has come to my attention that there was a bug with the password changing option on IRC (/nickserv set password
) since the recent servers upgrades on United-TI. If you change your password, quit the IRC network, then rejoin and try to identify (with /nickserv identify
), it will says your password is incorrect. So far nothing has been done about it, but the network administrator had been let known about this issue, but until something is done
PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD ON IRC!!!
This will cause you to never be able to login, like me, liazon, Demon, Papersnowman's bot and Sonata. I just wanted to let you know, in case you were about to change your password soon. Please don't. I myself lost all control on my own IRC channel by doing this, and I am lucky I can still even use the nickname "xlibman" on IRC at all.
Also I would like to point out that azzuri.dragon-fire.org is no longer avaliable, so the only way to access #omnimaga now is irc://unitedti.org or irc://zathur.dragon-fire.org, which are both the same server.
On another side note I would like to point out that I will be unavaliable after February 3rd until further notice (probably the middle of the summer) so if there is any requests to be done after this date send them to Tenniskid or Tifreak8x as I'll not have the chance to awnser them.
The Starcraft tournament is also postponed until the middle of the summer, for the same reasons, altough the people who are alerady participating are free to play against each others while I am gone providing they upload the replay file in a zip file on the forums after the game. Round two will occur this summer.
Also I would like to point out that if you registered for a forum account a while ago but your account is gone, please reregister again and please at least post once, preferably not in the spam forum. Some members use very strange e-mail addresses while registering and it's very hard to tell if it's a spambot or not when they sign up. I would seriously recommend that everyone use either Yahoo, hotmail, lycos or gmail to register and if it's not possible avoid e-mail addresses ending in .info, .biz, .ru as much as possible. You may end up getting a "sorry you are not permitted to use this board" message if you do, which is the message a banned user gets as well, as most e-mail addresses spambot uses were banned.

I didn't try changing my password, but I think I tried re-registering it or changing my greet msg. One of those...
