Slightly dated news, but http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2006/08/gamesetinterview_spencer_putt.php, the genius behind the upcoming Zelda game for the TI-83+ family.

Gaming blogs like http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/17/lover-of-calculators-developing-new-zelda-game-for-ti-83/, http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/interviews/interview-with-zelda-ti83-programmer-193946.php, and http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/zelda-running-on-ti-83 also picked up the story. Get more information about this game at the http://www.revsoft.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=348&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0.

Congratulations Spencer for getting the homebrew calc scene some mainstream recognition!

Yes he is being recognized (and yet to release a public demo), which is good for RevSoft and him (mostly him :Ptongue.gif). If you guys post a news article for each time he is recognized by something other than a calc site/forum, you will have a flood of news articles ;)wink.gif.

Actually when he was still working on the engine back in the day, he released an alpha thingy to a few people- including me. :)smile.gif Anyways, there wasn't much too it, only one very short dungeon that, after defeating the boss, nothing happened and you were just stuck in the boss room. It was pretty cool though. I dunno where I put that thing though. o.oblink.gif
