Damn, that's pretty cool.
What FPS does it run at ?
Developing Lua scripts for the NSpire ?
Check out the Necrotorium
Need a few routines to run faster ? Checkout the MODS Lua Assembly Toolkit.
Need to save space for your scripts ? Checkout LuaSrcDiet

Approximately 4-5 frames per second in default resolution mode. If I press the L key to enable low resolution, I get 10 fps. If I resize the screen down I get a small performance boost too, but it cannot go above 10 FPS, because keypresses are only detected every 0.1 seconds in Lua.

Oh by the way welcome on the forums NecroBumpist. I  hope you will not necropost too much O.O (seeing your nickname)

Yeah it would be nice. Calc84 had one for the Nspire last year but adding polygon sorting would have slowed it down too much, apparently, so it might have to remain like the first Space Dementia on the TI-92+ or like GlassCars and zDoom on the TI-83.

of course, minecraft doesn't need much in the way of rendering, just cubes, which have certain advantages

mobs would be harder tho.

Doesn,t Minecraft require like 8 GB of RAM to run, though? O.O

I don't think so DJ, you are quite mistaken. Otherwise, nobody would play it. Minecraft has low quality graphics (fortunately), but it's RAM heavy because it's unoptimized (or so people say)

Well I mean some servers got 8 GB RAM and still has troubles running Minecraft servers. If with gigabytes of RAM it barely runs, imagine a calc.

EDIT Actually wait you're right I think. It's the server that takes this much RAM, not the client.

and it gets bigger if you explore more...
the world's size depends on your exploration(I once tried to go one way as far as I could, and I spent >9 hours total just going in the same direction :P)
