The first ever 3D color calculator game!
« on: August 17, 2011, 08:11:03 pm »
This isn't very new, but recently Chokosta has released a TI-Nspire CX Lua version of Mazes 3D, the first ever calculator game to feature both 3D-looking graphics and colors at once. It is also possible to enable or disable a mini-map by pressing M or to reduce the graphics resolution and quality to increase the framerate. It is written in Lua, so it is texture-less and much slower than nDoom, but it is still very impressive and shows more examples of what can be done with Lua. Here is an animated screenshot below:

You can download the game here and discuss it here.

Yeah, don't count on the Minecraft source to be an easy port: There isn't exactly OpenGL support on the prizm.

Imagine nCaster in C on the prizm....

C and asm is available for the Prizm, but proper Java support might not happen for a very long time. Even if we manage to run some kind of Java program, that doesn't mean that the VM is complete.
