Loved this place, still the best producers of power metal, and sparked my dreams of coding.

There's
Code: [Select]
blue8x, but iirc that's still being developed and/or is dead...
But yeah, wifi or something similar on-calc (and a z80 calc, not the limited stuff on the Nspire) would be win ;D
I think that was by Thepeng77 right?
Yes, it was.

There's code and a video a few posts down.
I think Brandon W was fooling around with both wifi and some bluetooth stuff too if I remember correctly.

I think it has to be direct USB. Silverlink won't work, although I think somebody was planning to allow it.
I don't think Silverlink will ever work, mainly because Silverlink translates to USB output in order to send and recieve files only. However, there are solutions for non 84+ users: a simple bridge constructed from an Arduino, and a more complex, but less expensive bridge that plays as a USBHID. I think it would be cool and convenient if someone mass produced the latter.

Heya and welcome on the forums MayeulC. And I agree. Unfortunately using the USB port via Ndless is impossible, though. Nobody has ever managed to discover how to do so, and using the Nagivator is out of the question, since it costs about $500-2000 per unit :/

$500 a unit? TI is really ripping off schools. I'm guessing all it is is an average USB wifi transceiver with a battery and adapted to work with the dock connector. Simple enough to make much cheaper third party ones. Though there isn't really a market for third party calculator accessories.

Yeah, sadly it wouldn't have much success. I guess eventually someone migth come up with a cheaper but harder to build alternative, though.

I didn't know you couldn't use the usb port with Ndless.
But if it is possible to transmit a file to the calc while running an asm program, we should try a local browser which writes the requests into a file, and a PC-Side tool which replace this file with the Internet page.

I think it would also be possible to make an input for the Nspire using a fake keyboard, but I don't know how an output could be possibly done.
Using the led?  :D
