I want this ported to the Prizm with real pictures and animations! ;D
As soon as we figure out how to access the 3-pin port, I'm sure Kerm will be interested in porting CALCnet to the Prizm.
3 pin already good. Based off some disassembling I've done the Prizm uses the Renesas serial controller on the 7730 model processor. And once we find the usb peripheral we'll be good there too.

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

So we can send data using it however we want to? O.O
Please publish how to do it, either in a topic or on the wiki. It would be awesome.

Simon has been using the Prizm's 3pin port for a while. He is currently looking into the OS update process - however, without an fx-CG 10 at hand the Casio updater does not seem to be quite useful and forcing an "OS Error" message may be unfixable at this stage - at least if you have an fx-CG 20 only.

But is that direct access to what bits are sent, or just using syscalls to send things that conform to Casio's protocol?

As always: If there's a syscall that gets the job done - he'll use it.
That is: No, I don't think he uses any direct addressing.

Ah. Those probably work just fine with Casio's protocol, but CALCnet is a completely different protocol that isn't supported by either TI or Casio.

This is incredible. I question the use of the cursor-based interface (I can't see that as being justified, seeing as the browser's text-based), but this is just...words fail me. WOW.
See you, space cowboy...

Well, it uses Doors CS's GUI system, which is why it's a ~3KB program instead of a ~10KB program, and it makes it easy to click links.  Scrolling is the [ +]/[-] keys.  Thanks for the good wishes, everyone, and thanks for crossposting the news, Qwerty.

One thing has to be added to calcnet and then its 100% perfect: something for wireless linking.

Hey, found somewhere how to make a wireless infrared linking... but it was 2 years ago and I don't know which website it was. Also, you have to build your own module by yourself (I mean, you have to build at least 2 modules).
I own: 83+ ; 84+SE ; 76.fr ; CX CAS ; Prizm ; 84+CSE
Sorry if I answer with something that seems unrelated, English is not my primary language and I might not have understood well. Sorry if I make English mistakes too.
