And he's at it again, insulting and slandering others through (not so) private means of communication... and once again unprovoked, AFAICT. He's out of his mind.

Its a good think though that the forum is safe now...

The forum is not really safe: he has fully erased my account and posts.

Yeah, he still can do that.
But my point is that its not like the other time, where to forum was not so easy to backup.

Anyway, I almost can't understand how he doesn't see that you guys are just trying to help him. I don't know all his details though. I think he just doesn't want to lose his power, and sees Critor as a threat.

Well, there are certainly enough backups to set up a mirror elsewhere if need be.

In http://ti.bank.free.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?p=114186#p114186 , critor posted:
Quote

which translates to
Quote
After receiving multiple message reports, [I see that] it seems that I have been the target of a very real slander campaign through the site's PM system, this morning.

That the person responsible for this sort of actions is persuaded to be right, does not increase the legality [of such actions]. Fortunately for that person, I'm not eager to trigger legal proceedings.

This behaviour needs to stop ASAP. I request more dignity and courage. Only cowards and hypocrites stab in the back.

I was one of the recipients of Mic's slanderous message, so I can testify that it's slanderous. And unsurprisingly, since I was far from siding with him, Mic didn't like my reply. He then pretexted that I had posted his real name in a public message (which I did, to ask him to stop misbehaving) to erase my account and posts. What's silly is that his real name is visible on lots of pages of the site...

I've decided to temporarily stop every code & design development on the TI-Bank web site and announced it publicly.

This makes TI-Bank, which had grown to be, by far, the leading French-speaking website and forum, a giant step closer to the grave: critor did the bulk of the work on healing the limited and highly insecure TI-Bank website, the bulk of news posting and significant amounts of archive processing work over the past couple years.

Congratulations go to Mic for the feat of destroying, in a couple months, the site he created back in the day, and which other persons (mainly) had grown to be highly useful and successful.

As sad as it is, the question mark of this topic's title ought to be removed, and perhaps replaced by an exclamation mark...

Thanks Critor for all your hard work, and your patience!

EDIT: things have smoothed out quite a lot in a ~1h40 discussion on the chat at the top of the TI-Bank forum, between mainly Mic, his girlfriend (not logged in), critor and myself (not logged in either) :)
The logs are at an URL such as http://ti.bank.free.fr/forum/chat/?view=logs , but this requires an account, AFAICS.

A high altitude summary of the discussion: critor has explained once more, and probably a bit differently, how events unfolded in the few days after Mic posted a message that could (in the opinion, between others, critor, who is teacher as well) have had a negative impact on his career as a teacher. And Mic understood that critor was not up to any evil against him.
